Justin was extremely knowledgeable about the local fish species and helped us with every step of the way for fish ID. We even wound up with our dinner. Justin has a conservationist mindset and is very in tune with the ocean and ever changing conditions. Would highly recommend a dive session with Spearfishing Rincon. He offered some incredible tips for breathing and technique and I feel as though I learned a great deal in just a short time on the water with Justin.

The dive spots we went to out past the surf break at Maria’s were filled with fish and a strong current. Definitely make sure you’re in solid, strong swimming & endurance shape for 3 hours of movement, floating and breathing. I can’t recommend this experience enough!! Thank you Justin.

  Awesome guide, awesome dive, awesome day!  - My girlfriend and I (both new to freediving) did the beginner spearfishing lesson and it was one of the coolest things we've ever done! We met Justin at the beach,... read more where we went through some breathing exercises and he taught us about the freediving entry and breath hold techniques. Then we hit the water, swam out to the reef, and had a blast! Justin's passion for the ocean is infectious. He is an easygoing and patient teacher who is attuned to each student's needs. He has an immense knowledge of the reef that he is eager to share and places a huge emphasis on safety. His attitude put us at ease in the water and helped us quickly improve our diving and hunting skills. We saw tons of reef fish and managed to catch a couple for dinner. If you want an awesome adventure, I highly recommend this activity. We will definitely be back!

Justin, the owner of the company and guide was so organized and a great communicator. I was able to pay for the experience online and signs all waivers. We met him on a beautiful beach and had a safety brief and instruction before walking to the water and getting started. We all speared several fish and caught lobsters with our bare hands. The visibility was incredible!! 30+ feet I'd say. Justin carried a underwater GoPro and took pictures and video of all of use. We saw tons of beautiful fish and even go to get our picture with a 5' bull shark who didn't care we were swimming right next to him. Justin was so friendly and at no point did I ever feel nervous! I am a mom and love going on adventures with the kids. I highly recommend this excursion to ANYONE!! It is worth every penny.

Also we took the lobsters and fish around the corner to a local seafood restaurant "Tropical Seafood Restaurant" that cooked all our catch! It was delicious!

  Reef Fun at Indicators - We met Vanessa at Maria’s beach, one of the most popular surf breaks in Rincón but because there were no waves this day we got to explore this reef and... read more the one next to it which is called Indicators. We were really impressed with Vanessa’s knowledge and enjoyed going out with her. There were so many different species of fish and plenty of action. The reef was very interesting and we will definitely visit this location again when the conditions allow. We learned a lot about breathing and recovery times so we could stay down for longer and really get a good view of what hiding in the caves and crevasses.
